MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT DIRECTOR
Dear shareholders,
2023 was the year when companies could operate normally. During this recovery period, economic conditions gradually improved. In this case, the company experienced significant growth. The increase in purchasing power and mobility of the community made the company increasingly optimistic about continuing to develop. The economy in various sectors also showed improvement. Although the challenges have not yet been completely overcome, the company managed to record sales of IDR 1.794M, an increase of 17% from the previous year. This achievement aligns with the company’s target of increasing sales by 5-10%.
This increase was certainly caused by the improvement in the purchasing power of local people and the lifting of export restrictions, in line with the improving conditions of export destination countries. This was reflected in export sales, which recorded an increase of 20% compared to last year.
To achieve the targets set, we implemented a business strategy by staying focused on our existing market share. At the same time, we continue to strive to develop new products that meet the needs of the community—without neglecting nutritional content and product quality. The company’s success is inseparable from customers’ trust in Sekar Laut products.

OUR HISTORY
The Company started in 1966 as a home industry that supplied marine product and trading, in Sidoarjo City, East Java. The business expanded and developed a shrimp cracker factory which was the forerunner.
